WELCOME TO SANDIA VIEW CHURCH OF CHRIST

You Have a Place Here

Whether you’re just discovering Christ or looking for a community anchored in pure biblical teaching, you are welcome here. Step into genuine, spirit-filled worship that leaves the modern distractions at the door. We are united by God's radical grace, deep scripture study, heartfelt a cappella praise, and a shared passion for walking faithfully together.

Christ-Centered Worship

Grounded in the simplicity and purity of the New Testament pattern. We celebrate weekly communion, lift our voices in unaccompanied singing, and open the Scriptures together.

More About Our Worship

Authentic Fellowship

Faith was never intended to be walked alone. We believers depending on God and one another walking side-by-side through life’s joys and trials.

Connect With Us

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

1 John 1:7 (NKJV)
Walking in the Light
“The churches of Christ greet you.” • Romans 16:16

What to Expect on Your First Visit

When you visit Sandia View Church of Christ, you will be welcomed as an honored guest by a church family devoted to New Testament worship. Our services are simple, sincere, and strictly guided by the Bible (John 4:24). We aim to follow only scriptural patterns with open hearts and genuine love. Here is what you will experience during our Sunday assembly.

Singing as a Congregation

Ephesians 5:19 • Colossians 3:16

We sing because the New Testament instructs Christians to "sing and make melody in your heart to the Lord." Following the apostolic pattern without addition or subtraction, our praise is entirely a cappella — meaning we worship using only our voices in beautiful harmony without mechanical instruments. We warmly invite you to lift your voice with ours!

United in Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17 • 1 Corinthians 14:15

As a body of Christians, we devotedly offer prayers to God. During our assembly, a brother leads the congregation while we all participate in our hearts, focusing our minds on each petition. We use this precious time to thank God for His blessings, seek divine wisdom, and lift the needs of our members and neighbors before our Father in heaven.

Scriptural Teaching

2 Timothy 4:2 • Acts 17:11

Our preaching is expository, practical, and grounded directly in the New Testament Scriptures. We encourage you to follow along in your own Bible, take notes, and — like the noble Bereans of old — verify the truth of everything presented. Our goal is always to speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent.

The Lord's Supper

Acts 20:7 • 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Each Sunday morning, we participate in the Lord's Supper to remember the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We follow the scriptural example closely: giving thanks for unleavened bread representing Christ's body, and the fruit of the vine representing His blood shed on the cross.

The Collection

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 • 2 Corinthians 9:7

Following the command given to the early church, we take up a collection on the first day of the week as each Christian has prospered. We want our visitors to know with absolute certainty: you are our guest, and there is zero obligation to contribute.

An Invitation & Fellowship

Romans 6:3-6 • 1 John 1:9

At the close of the lesson, we sing a "song of invitation." This provides an opportunity for anyone who wishes to become a Christian or requests the prayers of the church to come forward. This is a purely voluntary act; you will never be singled out, pressured, or embarrassed. If you would prefer to study the Bible or discuss salvation in a more private setting, we are ready to assist you at any hour of the day.
